The Union of African Traditional Sports and Games (UATSG) in collaboration with UNESCO Regional Offices in Africa has initiated a project for the research and dissemination of African traditional sports and games.
In a follow-up to the African Union's Agenda 2063, the UATSG and UNESCO Africa have collaborated to gather TSG experts in order to establish mutual and stronger partnerships between the governmental and non-governmental organizations along with ensuring documentation and standardization of traditional sports and games in Africa.
