The Union of African Traditional Sports and Games in collaboration with the ICTSG, UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Offices in Abuja and Nairobi, the African Union and the United Nations Office on Counter-terrorism is organizing its first African Traditional Sports and Games Photo Contest 2023, where photo submissions will be accepted from 01 May 2023 till 30 June 2023. The winner will be announced on 14 August 2023 on the occasion of the International Day of Traditional Sports and Games.
This event will be a great step in highlighting and exemplifying the beauty that African traditional and indigenous sports hold and it will also showcase that traditional sports and games have very deep roots in African society where people value their cultures.
To enter in the Contest, participants must submit their photographs via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The submissions must be in high digital resolutions and in jpeg or jpg format.
